An electric boiler provides hot water to your wet central heating system through radiators or Under Floor Heating and can provide domestic hot water to your taps and showers, depending on what model you decide to go with.
An Electric boiler is suitable for use with standard heating system controls such as, radiators, circulating pumps, room thermostats, programmers and thermostatic radiator valves.

The benefits of an Electric boiler are :

All this said they can be quite expensive to run, and only usually come with a 2 year warranty compared with a 7-10 year warranty of an oil or gas boiler.
