Powerflushing is a way of cleaning a heating system. The Poweflush unit is a machine we use to pump chemicals and water at high velocity around the heating system removing sludge, limescale and system debris.
At the same time this is happening we will work through the system opening and closing certain radiators ensuring each radiator gets a proper flush through whilst agitating the bottom of the radiators with a special tool.
Once the power flush is complete we will fill and commission the heating system. Central heating inhibitor is then added to ensure long term protection against corrosion, lime scale and maintain system efficiency.
If you’re experiencing a noisy boiler, cold spots on radiators, or your central heating is taking a long time to heat up resulting in high running costs, then there’s a good chance you’ve got sludge, limescale and debris in your radiators or heat exchanger.
To solve this we would recommend power flushing your heating system. We would also recommend installing a primary system filter to help prolong the life of the boiler and heating system.
