We are qualified installers of unvented and vented hot water cylinders and work with known and trusted manufacturers that provide lengthy warranties.
The benefits of installing an unvented hot water cylinder are :
- You no longer need a big tank of stored water in the loft, which are quite often poorly installed and insulated.
- No more noisy shower pumps waking the whole house up when one person has to get up early for work, as the hot water cylinder is mains fed.
- All hot and cold taps in the house will be on balanced mains water pressure
- Unvented hot water cylinders are very efficient at holding their heat and only drop a few degrees in a 24hr period.
We also install vented hot water cylinders. These are traditional cylinders working on gravity from a cold water storage tank in the loft. These are a good option for those of you who do not have the mains water pressure for an unvented cylinder, or just need a replacement due to an old poorly insulated or leaking cylinder.
Both vented and unvented cylinders can be heated directly via an immersion heater or indirectly via a boiler or or renewable heat source such as an Air source or Ground source heat pump.
